Kim Fowley & Metabolismus, “Sounds of an Empty Room”

Filed under: Uncategorized — kendrasteinereditions @ 9:25 am

Kim Fowley has always been my artistic hero, and in many ways he is the ultimate beat poet. Here’s a Fowley release I’d never seen nor heard of, a hotel-room recording made soon after the legendary/infamous 1992 concert documented on the White Negroes in Deutschland album (where Fowley was fronting a band led by the great ex-Flamin’ Groovies/Barracudas gtrist/singer/songwriter Chris Wilson, another person criminally under-rated). This is the naked Fowley…would you want it any other way?
