TRICKLEDOWN COVER

Yes, we’re all waiting for it to trickle-down, whatever “it” is for each of us, and according to whatever timetable or system we’ve talked ourselves into believing. These are the poetic fragments swept up after the fact by archaeologists from the future, the raw materials from which the inferences will be made, the evidence from which the crime (theft and emotional abuse on a grand scale) will be someday re-imagined with 20/20 hindsight. After a while, the lack of oxygen made us light-headed, and TRICKLE-DOWN CITY LIMITS exists in that oxygen-starved netherworld. Five pages of poetry and three artworks. As Jerry Van Dyke used to say in those ads for Big Lots, “Come on—-you know you want to go there!” The trip is cheap but potent: $6 postpaid in the US, $7 elsewhere. Ordering information is to be found above.

This is the last KSE release before my “writing vacation” in central Louisiana during the last two weeks of May. You can still order during that period (and you should as we’ll be deleting a number of albums and chapbooks when I come back in June) and your items will be shipped promptly during the first week of June.

I’m involved in a number of poetry and poetry-related projects presently, so you’ll be seeing some surprises over the next 18-24 months. Until then, grab some of the recent chapbooks (listed below) which are still available and also give TRICKLE-DOWN a try. The first person who received a copy of this (from Pennsylvania, someone who attended my Pittsburgh reading a few years back), who has been a reader of mine for many years, texted me to say “Delivers the goods. Packs more into it than most novels, but in only six pages, because it requires the reader to actively participate. The final section left me speechless. It’s painful, but self-realization always is. You’ve hit the nail on the head.”

Get your copy now. Edition of 43 copies.
